Our agency opened in 2019 and has grown into a small but close-knit team of three. Before becoming an agent, I spent eight years in appliance sales before a recruiter from State Farm reached out and set me on this path. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Enterprise Management and German, and I’ve been married for 10 years with four kids who keep life full and fun. We’re actively involved in our community—my husband coaches soccer, we donate to local schools, adopt families during the holidays, and even bring a Grinch costume to spread cheer around Christmas time.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Amanda Spencer - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
